POTATO PUREE WITH PAN FRIED MEAT

POTATO PUREE INGREDIENTS

4 potato
1/2 cap grated cheddar cheese
1/2 milk
2 tbs butter
salt ,white pepper

PAN FRIED MEAT INGREDIENTS

250 -300 gr lamb meat
1 onion
2 tbs olive oil
salt ,black pepper
4 tbs white wine or water

Lamb meat Marinade Ingredients

1/ 2 cup milk
3 tbs olive oil
2 cloves garlic ( grated)

POTATO PUREE DIRECTIONS

Boil potato until tender( about 25 minutes ) when poked with a pork and check it out.

When the potatoes are done remove and drain.

Set aside to let cool and peel them and then pass the potatoes
through the grid of a food mill passing them into
a large bowl (or use the potato ricer for squash
them) .

Put the butter in large saucepan and melt butter
add squashed cloves garlic and add potatoes , salt ,
pepper stir them together and add milk stir about 2
minutes (add cheddar cheese if you like) and mix again until
smooth then remove from heat.

PAN FRIED LAMB MEAT DIRECTIONS

Chop the lamb meat .

Pour the marinade over the lamb
meat and rest for 2 hours .

Peel the onion ,cut it julienne style.

Place in sieve to drain the lamb meat and heat the oil in
a deep pan ,add the lamb meat and fry until they
golden yellow .

Add onion , salt , pepper and fry them about 2 minutes.

Add white wine or water ,simmer until the lamb is cooked.
