Colorful mongolian beef is very tender and tasty .
FOR BEEF INGREDIENTS :
500-600 gr. beef ( entrecote or steak fillet ) .Cut it like a stripe shape
1 egg yolk
2 tsp cornstarch
3 tbs water
Mix the egg yolk , cornstarch and water in a little bowl for meat marinade . Pour the marinade on to the beef and massage with the marinate sauce . Set aside 1-2 hour , at room temperature .
FOR VEGETABLE INGREDIENTS :
1 leek , cut it like a stripe shape
1tbsp , fresh green onion , chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 red bell pepper , chopped
1 carrot , chopped
1 tsp , fresh ginger , grated
3 cloves garlic , minced
FOR COOKING INGREDIENTS :
2 tbsp , olive oil for cooking the beef
3 tbs , olive oil for cooking vegetable
1- 2 tbsp , soy sauce
3-4 tbsp , red wine or water
Sea salt , red pepper flakes and black pepper
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a big stainless pan over the medium – high heat . Place the beef in the stainless pan and fry about 4-5 minutes . Transfer it from the pan to a medium bowl .
Pour 3 tbs olive in the stainless pan , before add the mushroom and cook for 1 minute then add the carrot , leek and red bell pepper , green bell pepper , garlic , ginger , Stir and fry for 2- 3 minutes .
Pour the soya sauces and 3 tbsp red wine or the water . Cook over a high heat for about 1-2 minutes or until the liquid has evaporated . Add the cooked beef and combine them . Remove from the heat .
Serve with chinese fry rice or rice spaghetti .
