Chicken soup with vermicelli that makes you feel well and even happy  on  cold days and winter . It is tasty and healthy .


1 cup cooked  chicken , diced ( it’s essentially use a real homemade cooked chicken and chicken stock for this soup )

1/2 cup  vermicelli

1 medium onion , diced

1 tbsp butter

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 fresh red bell , diced

2 cloves garlic , chopped

1 tsp  dried mint

1 tbsp tomato paste

6 cup hot water

1/2  cup chicken broth


Heat the butter and olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat . Add the onion , salt,  fry until golden yellow , Then add the garlic , diced chicken  , stir and fry for 30 seconds , then add the tomato paste , red pepper flakes ,the vermicelli  , fresh red bell pepper . Stir and fry for 30 seconds , then  pour the water and chicken broth .

Cook  12 to 15 minutes until the vermicelli is fully cooked .Remove from the heat and stir in dried  mint . Serve hot and serve with lemon slices .
