If you are looking for  delicious homemade pizza with special homemade sauces, it is here and this pizza is crispy , cheesy ,flavorful ,inside tender and  it is a great pizza recipe with homemade dough and homemade sauce. Use these delicious  pizza recipe to create easy , tasty, healthy weeknight dinners or meals.


2 middle size tomato, grated

2 tbsp ketchup

1 tbsp tomato paste or tomato puree

1 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp fresh basil leaves, chopped

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp butter

1/5 tsp black pepper, ground

1/5 tsp red pepper flakes

1/4 tsp dried mint

1/2 cup water

1-   Place a wide saucepan over the medium heat and place the olive oil and butter in the pan . Add  the garlic and garlic begins to color lightly, add the grated tomato, tomato paste and simmer for 5 minutes. Then add the chopped basil, ketchup,1 tsp sugar, black pepper, red pepper flakes, mint, the water, salt to taste.

2- Bring to the boil, then turn the heat down and simmer for 10 minutes or until rich and thick. Let it cool .


5 cup and 1/2 cup all purpose flour

3 cup water, warm

10 gr. dry active yeast or 15 gr. fresh yeast

1 tsp sea salt

1 tsp sugar

2 tbsp olive oil

1 cup extra flour for working surface

FOR TOPPING INGREDIENTS = Mozzarella , green olive ( chopped)

Or toppings of your choice


1- Mix the warm water , olive oil , sugar , salt , yeast in a medium bowl. Place the flour a big bowl and pour this mix gradually in the bowl. Mix  them with a electric mixture for 4 minutes , or you can use your hands and mix it 8-10 minutes, until you have a silky and elastic a dough. Flour the top dough and cover the dough with plastic wrap and tea towel.

2-  Preheat the oven to 235 C .degrees.

3-Prepare your desired toppings.

4- Let it to rise until doubled size for 45-60 minutes. Then take it out of the bowl on to floured surface and divide the dough 3 or 4 pieces.

5-Dust a work surface with flour and roll each piece of dough into a rectangle or whatever shape you like. Spread the cooled sauce over pizza dough , leaving 1cm, border. Place sliced mozzarella, sliced olive on top of the sauce. Bake the pizza for 8-10 minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is melted . Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Homemade pizza sauce = Fry  minced garlic in olive oil and butter.


Add the grated tomato, ketchup, chopped herb, spicy and cook.


Pizza dough= Mix the all purpose flour, the water, the salt,the sugar, the yeast and let it to rise.



Roll each piece of dough into a rectangle and spread the cooked sauce over the  pizza dough.


Place it  in the preheated oven. (235 degrees C.)

    Makes me hungry just looking, but I’m pretty sure my Italian mother-in-law would slap me senseless if admitted to adding ketchup to red sauce…but it does sound good, the pictures are pretty convincing, and what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her–or me.
