Cook time= 25-40 minutes
Here is a recipe I use for delicious rice pudding , It is simple to make. These rice pudding will melt in your mouth.You can enjoy this pudding cold or lukewarm even hot.
1/3 cup baldo rice
1 cup water
4 cup whole milk
5-6 tbsp granulated sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp wheat starch mixed with 1/3 cup cold water
40 gr. white chocolate , grated
1- Pick over the rice, wash and drain. Add the rice to cold water in a saucepan, bring to boil and cook it over a medium heat until the rice grains are half tender.
2- Add the milk and cook until the rice grains are tender. Add the sugar and then gradually add the diluted wheat starch, vanilla extract.Cook about for 5 minutes.
3- When the mixture starts to bubble pour into the little overproof bowl.Let the rice pudding cool and spread the grated white chocolate on cooled rice pudding.
4- If desire , place the bowls in a tray and bake in a pre-heated oven at 250 degrees C. until a brown skin has formed on top about for 2-3 minutes.
5- Serve cold.
Add the milk into half cooked rice and cook until the half tender rice grains are tender.
Pour into the overproof bowl.
