Hi Everyone!

To celebrate my First year post last week, I baked Chocolate Chip Cake . I want to share its recipe with you.The chocolate chip cake is super moist, tasty,easy. This cake is most rich chocolate, most moist.The Chocolate Chip Cake is absolutely heavenly with or without frosting.Enjoy it.

Dark chocolate contains a large number of antioxidants and it contains amount of soluble fiber and is loaded with minerals. Also it is good for your heart and cardiovascular system running well.


1 and ½ cup all -purpose flour

2 eggs

1cup sugar

½ cup plain yogurt (Turkish style yogurt or Greek yogurt)

60gr. unsalted butter, 60gr. Margarine, melted.

1 tsp sodium bicarbonate

1 cup chocolate chips

1 and ½ tbsp cocoa powder


1 and ½ Cup icing sugar

200gr.cream cheese

80gr. Unsalted butter, room temperature

1tbsp fresh lemon juice

½ tsp vanillin

Combine the butter, cream cheese, vanillin, lemon juice, icing-sugar, mix and  chill the topping (frosting) in the refrigerator about 20 minutes.


Preheat the oven to 180 C. degrees. Line a cake pan (16cm.) with baking parchment .

  • Beat eggs and sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Add the yogurt and stir to combine them, sift the flour and cocoa powder, sodium bicarbonate, add orange zest. Beat until combine and creamy.
  • Add the chocolate chips and stir until well combine.
  • Pour into the prepared cake pan, smooth the top. Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 40-50 minutes or a tooth-pick inserted into the centre will come out clean when it’s ready. Cool completely before decorating in the cake pan and then transfer to a serve plate.
  • Remove  cooled frosting from the refrigerator and spoon onto cake, coat it with the frosting. Chill it for 20 minutes in the refrigerature before decorating with finger chocolate.
  • Bon appetite.

Beat the sugar with eggs, add plain yogurt and the melted butter-margarine,beat them together.


Sift the flour, cocoa powder, sodium bicarbonate and mix until combine them.


Add orange zest, mix.


Add chocolate chip.


Pour in the lined cake pan and bake it.
