There is no better smell than the fresh baked chocolate cookies in the kitchen. Baking Chocolate Cookie smells in my kitchen, I would love my house to always smell like. These double chocolate cookies are easy to make and they are so delicious,inside soft,rich chocolate and moreish. If you like your cookies a little firmer , allow them to bake for 1 or 2 minutes more. Enjoy it with a cup of coffee, a cup of tea or a glass of milk.
2cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup unsalted butter, softened-at room temperature
3/4cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
¼cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup chocolate chips
80gr. Dark chocolate chopped
¼ tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. (350 degrees F.)
1- Place the butter and sugar in a large bowl and use electric mixer, combine the butter, sugar. Then add eggs, vanilla and beat on low speed until just combined, about 2 minutes.
2- Add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, a pinch of salt, beat low speed until just combined about 1 minute, or use your hand and knead until just combined it.
3- Add the chocolate chips, chopped chocolate, again beat just until combined, 5-10 second.
4- Using ice-cream spoon or your hands, roll into balls and flatten slightly.
5- Place the roll dough on a sheeted tray or a greased tray, spaced at least 1 cm apart and bake for about 6-8 minutes, or until edges have set and tops are just set, smoothly in the center.
6- Don’t over bake, and Allow cookies to the baking tray , cookies firm up as they cool.
Beat the butter,sugar and then add eggs,vanilla, cocoa, baking soda,a pinch of salt, beat them.
Add the chocolate and mix until combine.
Spoon the cookies dough onto the baking tray.
Bake and let cool.
