Easy Chicken Fajita is perfect for busy week nights or perfect for outdoor dining in the summer and Fajitas are delicious Mexican-style wraps and also Chicken Fajitas are a favorite for everyone. Marinated chicken breast seared quickly and combined pepper, onion, garlic, you can also use a large wok or pan. Enjoy it!
4 large tortillas
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 green pepper, discarded its seeds, cut into strips
1 jalapeño, discarded its seeds , chopped-optional
2 -3 Cloves garlic, chopped
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
Sea salt to taste
Shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, salsa and sour cream or thickened yogurt, for serving.
For simple Guacamole- 2 large avocado, finely diced and dressed with 1 tbsp lime juice and combine them with 1 clove minced garlic, 1/3 cup chopped green onion, 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro, 1 finely chopped jalapeno pepper then season with sea salt.
-INREDIENT FOR MARINATING-
600-800gr. boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced in strips.
1/4 teaspoon, red pepper flakes
1/8 tsp, ground black pepper
2-3 cloves garlic, chopped o
2-3 tbsp fresh lemon juice-about 1/2 lemon
1/8 tsp ground cumin- if desired
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon zest
4-5 mint leaves, chopped
Place the chicken breast in medium bowl and add the olive oil, red pepper, black pepper, garlic, chopped mint, lemon zest, cumin. Rub gently and set aside about 15-20 minutes.
1- Add 2 tbsp olive oil to a large pan and add the marinated chicken breast in it . Cook over high heat stirring occasionally until the chicken golden brown .
2- Add the vegetables and coook the vegetables are crispy-tender, add 2-3 tbsp water and reduce the heat to the medium heat, cook the chicken until the chicken is cooked thought about 5 minutes.
3- Add a pinch of salt to taste and remove the pan from the heat. Transfer the cooked chicken to a serve plate and serve with the warmed tortillas, lettuce, cheese, salsa, lime wedges, guacamole, sour cream or yogurt.
Add 2 tbsp olive oil in a large pan and cook the chicken breast in the pan then add the vegetables. Add the 2 tbsp water and cook until the chicken is cooked.
