Hi Everyone!

These Cauliflower puree with potato came out excellent!!! The puree is fluffy and light, take 30 minutes to make . Cauliflower puree with potato do not taste like simple cauliflower, it tastes pretty amazing! If you don’t like simple cauliflower taste, try this Cauliflower puree with potato, which is a delicious and healthy substitute for traditional cooked cauliflower. The cauliflower goes really well with meat or chicken.Forget the mashed potatoes, tray this very healthy alternative.

Cauliflower is an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin K and manganese, dietary fiber, omega-3 fatty acids as well as carotenoids. Cauliflower is extremely low calories, which is good news for our waistline.


500 gr.(medium) cauliflower head

3 medium potato

1 cup whole milk

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 large garlic cloves,mashed

1 tbsp butter

1tbsp olive oil

1/2 tbsp salt

Ground black pepper and red pepper flakes  to taste

For topping; 1tbsp olive oil and 1/2 red pepper flakes.


1-Boil potatoes until tender and strain them.

2-Separate cauliflower into florets and cut in smaller size. Place them in a medium pot and bring to a boil until  cauliflower is fork tender, then drain.

3-Using food processor , process cauliflower and potatoes until very smooth and set aside.

4-Put the butter and olive oil in a medium pan .Fry mashed garlic in the butter and olive oil until yellowish and add the grated potato and cauliflower in the fried garlic and add the milk in the mixed cauliflover, cook until consistency and add the cheese , corporate them together and add the salt ,pepper to taste, remove the pan from the heat. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil and add 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes and to decore your puree. The puree can be serve warm or cold.

Enjoy it!


Boil the potatoes and boil the  cauliflower with half lemon.

Drain the potato and cauliflower, after cooled ,grated the potato and cauliflower.

Fried the mashed garlic with butter and add the potato, cauliflower, milk, stir and cook until consistency.

image Add the cheese, salt, ground pepper and mix until corporate them then remove the pan from the heat.
